Broadhempston Short Mat Bowls Club
The club meets every Tuesday evening, 7:00-9:00pm. Most members are new to the game and enjoy sociable club meetings with a mid-session break for coffee and biscuits. We have the equipment and space to set out three mats so up to 24 members could be playing together.
As our proficiency improves we may affiliate to the Devon SMBA to take part in local inter-club matches, but no specific plans at present.
To cover hall hire charges, refreshments and any minor expenses we each pay £3 per evening and there is an annual membership fee of £10.
We welcome new members. The game is suitable for all ages from 12 to senior citizens.
